In simple language, Acne is a very common skin condition which occurs when hair follicles and pores are clogged with dead skin cells and oil from the skin (sebum).”It causes spots and pimples, particularly on the face, shoulders, back, neck, chest, and upper arms. Whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, cysts, and nodules are all different types of acne problems. Commonly occurs during puberty, when the sebaceous glands get activated. However it can occur at any age.     Resorcinol is another best skin treatment ingredient that is beneficial for skin problems. To treat mild to moderate acne, resorcinol is much beneficial as it helps break down or moderate blackheads and whiteheads.

  3. Sulphur:

    One more supplement which is best for skin care treatment is Sulphur. It actually causes the skin to dry and peel when applied topically. Sulphur helps reduce skin oiliness (sebum) and helps the skin shed cells more effectively, so pore blockages don’t develop.

  4. Tretinoin:

    Apart from all, Tretinoin is also known to be an over-the-counter skin specialist. It is a derivative or forks of vitamins A which helps and treat skin problems such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Basically it is used on the skin topically for mild to moderate acne and on skin that has been damaged by excessive exposure to the sun. Tretinoin Irritates the skin and causes the cells of the skin to grow and die rapidly, Increasing the turnover of Cells.

  5. Salicylic acid:

    Salicylic acid is a type of phenolic acid which is a kind of medication, used on the skin to treat common skin and foot warts. It assists the breakdown of blackheads and whiteheads and helps reduce inflammation and swelling.

  6. Azelaic acid:

    Azelaic acid is an organic compound. It works by killing acne bacteria that infect skin pores.

Mentioned above are some precautions and treatment for acne however it is recommended to start with the lowest strengths. Mild acne normally subsides after continued use of over-the-counter medications for some time. If not, seek a doctor.

But treating moderate to severe acne is totally a different scenario. Severe acne leaves scars or marks on the body. Moderate to severe acne treatments or removal of acne scars treatment take time to operate and heal.
